Actress Kate del Castillo has asked a federal judge for protection against any order of detention, presentation, or arrest that could rid her of her freedom in Mexican territory.

The Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humano (CNDH) presented a recommendation to the Marines in response to six cases that ranged from torture to sexual violence.
