OAS Will Convene To Debate Situation in Nicaragua

Issue Sep 02-08 2026: The secretary general of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin, has announced that OAS representatives plan to convene on September 28 to analyze the situation in Nicaragua. The meeting is especially urgent in light of the Ortega-Murillo regime’s recent move to cancel general elections in the country indefinitely.
