Issue May 06-12 2026: Panamanian Academy of Language (APL) was first conceived by internationalist lawyer and lexicographer Ricardo J. Alfaro after he decided to forge a national institution dedicated to the study and promotion of the Spanish language. After undergoing the requisite procedures at the Ibero-American Union, together with the efforts of like-minded intellectuals and local scholars, Alfaro managed to make his brainchild a reality.
