Issue Sep 23-29 2026: Two visits by Uruguayan Economy Minister Gabriel Oddone to the Paris headquarters of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) suggest that the country’s government is seeking to strengthen its relationship with the entity, a suggestion made even more palpable as OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann prepares for his upcoming visit to Montevideo next week.
