Issue Jun 01-11 2025: A multimillion-dollar parcel delivery scheme in Nicaragua, controlled by figures close to the governing family has been exposed of customs fraud, abuse of power, corruption, illicit associations, tax fraud, and smuggling. An investigation by Yader Morazán, writing for Confidencial Magazine of Nicaragua, revealed the extent of this corruption which proliferates poverty, inequality, and distrust in institutions.
