President Toys with Re-election in Mexico Against Campaign Promise

Mexican President Manuel López Obrador has raised the alarm in his recent act to extend his term of office through his power as President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation. When questioned by reporter Rocío Jardínez about whether he would be willing to pledge against an extension mandate, the president denied and followed up with usual rhetoric of his campaign promise against his reelection.
