Issue Apr 01-07 2026: The situation in El Salvador has become serious. The International Group of Experts for the Investigation of Human Rights Violations under the State of Exception in El Salvador (GIPES) has concluded that state authorities there have committed crimes against humanity and are requesting that the International Criminal Court look into the matter and hold accountable those responsible for them.
