Colombian Hotel Makes List of 100 Best in the World

Issue Aug 19-25 2026: Colombia’s Sofitel Barú Cartagena Hotel, located on the island of Barú in Cartagena, has made the list of the best 100 hotels in the world, according to readers of the American magazine Travel+Leisure. Coming in at number 65, the hotel also ranked as the fifth best resort in South America.
