Eminent French Clown to Appear in Montevideo

Issue Aug 12-18 2026: A visit to the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo by French artist Alain Vigneau, known as one of the world’s most renowned clowns, promises to unite art with spirituality during the two presentations he is scheduled to give at the Catholic University, aimed at clowns specializing in hospital work, and at the Graciela Figueroa Foundation, where he will discuss his two books, The Essential Clown and A Clown’s Life.
