Issue Mar 01-07 2023: On Thursday, March 2, the Jornal Nacional, the main TV news program of Rede Globo, a big Brazilian television network, dedicated more than five minutes to attack the Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST) which occupied three areas of the Suzano Papel e Celulose company, in Bahia, to report environmental destruction and other perils of the eucalyptus monoculture.
