Years of Research Confirm Continued Paramilitary Activity in Colombia

Colombian security remains under threat of illegal paramilitary groups, according to a new report by the NGO Indepaz.  They show that in the first quarter of 2016 there were 14 paramilitary groups in operation in 146 of 1,100 municipalities in 22 of 32 provinces in Colombia.
