Uruguayan Census on the Homeless Population Seeks to Modify Policies

The Ministry of Social Development (Mides) in Uruguay found an increase in the homeless population through a recent census. “At a glance, it would seem that the population on the streets increased and that population we have today is different from the past,” said Departmental Minister Marina Arismendi, interviewed by Channel 4’s Telebuendía program.
