As Pride month began in July, the LGBTQ+ community counted their losses and wins in Latin American governments. Latin America is still not a safe place for the LGBTQ+ community due to prejudice and hate that are so tightly knit with Latin American culture. However, July was a month of surprises, where some governments showed their support for the community and took a step towards their rights.
