Issue Aug 28-Sep 03 2024: On August 30, 2024, the freight transport union announced that, in response to the National Government’s decision to increase the price of diesel fuel, the majority of drivers in the country would go on strike and carry out blockades on the main roads in the country in protest of the announcement of the increase in the price of fuel.
