During the span of fifteen days, habitants of Puerto Rico organized massive protests to force Ricardo Rosselló to resign as governor after a controversial chat was leaked to the public on July 10, 2019. Protests broke out all over the island and eventually, to other parts of the world. On July 25, 2019, Rosselló released an official video on Facebook regarding his resignation. As of Sunday July 28, 2019, Puerto Ricans all over the world are celebrating their victory through dancing, and are hoping for a better future.
