PepsiCo, the American multinational food, snack, and beverage corporation, closed a factory in the Florida neighborhood of Vicente López, Argentina. The factory employed more than 600 workers, and was shut down on June 20. Protests and violent clashes with local and national authorities ensued, and both legal and political action are still taking place.
