OAS General Assembly to Demand an End to Human Rights Violations in Nicaragua

Issue Jun 05-11 2024: On June 26 and 28, during the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), a draft resolution will be discussed that demands the “immediate” release of political prisoners in Nicaragua and urges states of the western hemisphere to redouble their efforts to facilitate actions for the cessation of human rights violations in the country.
