Nicaraguan Civil Society Groups Call for International Authorities to Pressure Ortega Government into Responding to Covid-19

In a letter addressed to the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and the director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Dr. Carissa F. Etienne, the Coalición Nacional de Nicaragua (Nicaragua National Coalition) asked that the two directors use their positions to call for the Daniel Ortega government to respond responsibly to the Covid-19 pandemic, following the WHO and PAHO’s guidelines.
