Issue Apr 01-07 2026: A worrying trend is developing in Argentina: 42%, or nearly half, of the population between 19 and 24 years of age residing in working-class neighborhoods in the greater Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) have dropped out of school, twice the national average and five times above the dropout rate found in higher-income areas.
