Issue Jun 19-30 2024: On June 26th, a group of military veterans in Guatemala began a series of road blockades to demand that Bernardo Arévalo’s government follow through on the overdue three-month payments that were promised to them by the Temporary Law of Comprehensive Development under Alejandro Giammattei’s administration.
