Issue Aug 27-Sep 02 2025: Nearly 10,000 people were astonished at the Auditorio Nacional and the 11th edition of the show “Despertares.” Dancers and creators of the show, Isaac Hernández, Esteban Hernández, and Emilia Hernández, set out to share the art of dancing while simultaneously breaking the idea that it is an elitist art. They brought dancers from some of the best ballet companies in the world. Through this, it is clear that a person’s body language can transcend language barriers.
