Issue Oct 08-14 2025: According to Marina Kriscautzky Laxague, director of Technological Innovation at Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM), undergraduates at her institution suffer from a “very serious addiction to technology” while their ability to process and edit data, texts, spreadsheets, audio, video, and images are lacking and even worse than when they did not have a cell phone.
