Mexican Cartels Are Now Present in 50 Countries Across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe

Two of Mexico’s most well-established and prolific drug cartels, the Cártel de Sinaloa and the Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), have expanded their financial and supply networks in the last twenty years to at least fifty countries around the world and are now present in West Africa, Southeast Asia, and Europe, according to official reports by both the Mexican and United States governments.
