Members of Mexico’s artistic community, led by the Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMACC), the Asociación Mexicana de Productores Independientes and the artistic collective El Grito más Fuerte, have expressed their opposition to the handling of cultural content as a commodity under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
