Messages of Hope and Urgency, Condemnation and Doubt at COP20 Conference

UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon delivered the opening address at COP20 in Lima stressing that it is not too late to act, while Bolivia’s President Evo Morales criticized leaders of the industrial world and capitalist corporations for their role in impeding progress to protect the environment.  Greenpeace was condemned for its act of vandalism and finally, a Call for Climate Action was passed, but it contains many uncertainties.
