One of its oldest municipalities is Ramiriquí, where the first settlement was founded in 1541. The Boyacá Tourism Information System (Situr) indicates that its name derives from the word Rumirraque which means “white land.” It is considered one of the most welcoming destinations, offering a diverse range of activities and attractions to explore.
