Justice Restored in Mexico for a Female Couple

Issue Jun 18-24 2025: A married couple in Mexico obtained an injunction before the Supreme Court of Justice for being discriminated against by their insurance company due to their sexual orientation. They were not being granted the same rights as heterosexual couples. The couple sought to nullify the contract they had with the insurance company and payment for compensation. When the company refused, they filed a lawsuit against it. The First Chamber of the Supreme Court ruled the bill was under review.
