Izquierda Democrática and Pachakutik Explore Possible Alliance

Two of Ecuador’s leftist political parties have begun to explore the possibility of an alliance in anticipation of the country’s upcoming presidential election. Leaders of the Izquierda Democrática (ID) and Pachakutik movement met at ID headquarters in Quito to discuss joining ranks for the elections to be held in 2017.
