Increase of Femicide in Mexico Points to Need for Re-education of Boys and Girls

A debate has emerged around the increased rates of femicide in the Mexican state of Morelos and the statistical discrepancies provided by the state commission and judicial authority. Following the activation of the gender alert in August 2015, the government of Morelos credits the reeducation of boys and girls as a way to reduce femicide.
