As the day to vote comes closer for Uruguay’s referendum of 135 articles of the Ley de Urgente Consideración (LUC) to be repealed, the traditionally leftist party Frente Amplio (FA) concluded that the best way to proceed in the historic referendum is to adopt a change in their socialist language to inspire undecided, nonpartisan voters to side with them.
