Issue Jul 01-31 2025: El Salvador governing party, Nuevas Ideas, headed by controversial President Nayib Bukele, has approved a constitutional amendment aimed at facilitating the Central American nation’s withdrawal from Parlacen, the inter-state parliament whose membership consists of six countries in the region, by removing all acknowledgment of Salvadoran Parlacen deputies from the official registry.
