Issue Dec 01-31 2022: The Andes Mountains are home to diverse ecosystems that provide resources to many of the surrounding countries; however, with the rise of climate change there is an increased threat of water supply shortages, famine, and the loss of essential biodiversity. Some scientists believe these effects to be irreversible, but it is important to prevent further damage by taking action to preserve and rehabilitate the environment.
