Cubans in Matanzas Hold Festival Without State Support

Issue Dec 01-31 2025: Residents of Matanzas, Cuba, managed to hold their yearly festival of La Colla on December 14 despite a complete lack of governmental support. The festival, which is of Catalan origin, consist of a pilgrimage from the La Libertad park to the Monserrate Hermitage.
