Constitutional Vote against LGBTI Rights in El Salvador

On April 17, 2015 the Salvadoran Assembly voted again to ban same-sex marriage and adoption, with the measure receiving 47 of the 84 members’ votes, but it must now be ratified by two thirds of the Assembly, or 56 of the 84 total.
