Colombia Grants New Lands to Indigenous Peoples in the Amazon

Issue Apr 01-07 2026: Colombia’s National Land Agency has announced that it has approved the concession and extension of 126,000 hectares of Amazonian territory for the use of Indigenous communities. The measure is expected to affect 1,345 families.
