Colombia and Ecuador Discuss Potential Humanitarian Corridor for Repatriating Venezuelan Migrants

Issue Mar 04-10 2026: Colombian President Gustavo Petro has said that his country is willing to help create a humanitarian corridor with Ecuador by means of which to move Venezuelan migrants from that country back to their nation of origin, but has emphasized that such a project must be founded on the basis of respect shown toward Colombia by Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa.
