Cocoa Cultivation Revived in Guatemala

Although the national grain is native and popular, it barely figures into the world’s statistics of cocoa. Data from the Differential Committee of Cocoa and Chocolate, of the Guatemalan Association of Exporters (AGEXPORT), estimate that world production is 4 million tons, of which Guatemala produces approximately 1,200 tons.
