Issue Nov 05-11 2025: Over 600 leaders from Latin America’s steel industry met in Cartagena, Colombia, to discuss the impact of Chinese steel imports on the region. According to these leaders, the challenge posed by Chinese steel, which is being “dumped” across the continent at prices lower than its market value, may result in the eventual collapse of Latin American steel manufacturing.
