Issue Nov 12-18 2025: The IV Summit of the CELAC-EU Forum took place in early November in Santa Marta, Colombia. The event, designed as a space inside the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) to forge inter-regional ties facilitating greater mutual understanding and cooperation, focused in large part this year on the issue of Latin America’s political and ideological fragmentation, which is currently limiting the ability of the region to reach unified agreements on a range of urgent problems.
