Brazil Ends Year of U.S. Tariff Hikes with a $68 billion Trade Surplus

Issue Jan 01-06 2026: Data from the Brazilian trade balance released on January 6, 2026, by the Ministério de Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços indicate that Brazil exported $348.7 billion dollars in 2025, surpassing the previous record by 9 billion, from 2023. Last year ended with a positive balance of 68.3 billion dollars.
