Bolivia’s Plurinational Constitutional Court (TCP) ruled that the swearing-in of Jeanine Áñez after the coup against Evo Morales was unconstitutional because “there was never a power vacuum or constitutional succession” to justify the self-proclamation, which was endorsed at the time by the opposition and the Church hierarchy.
