Bolivia and Chile Return to the International Court of Justice

According to Héctor Arce, Bolivia’s Attorney General, on September 13th Bolivia’s ambassador to the ICJ, Eduardo Rodríguez Veltzé, will be asking the ICJ to begin a second round of litigation against Chile. This litigation focuses on the territory lost by Bolivia to Chile in the War of the Pacific in 1879.
