The National Civil Police (PNC), an institution created by the Peace Accords to counter human rights violations by the extinct state security forces, committed extrajudicial executions, altered and covered up scenes of their crimes and threatened witnesses, all of which was revealed in a report submitted to the Attorney General’s Office for the Defense of Human Rights (PDDH).
