Issue Apr 15-21 2026: The Milei administration in Argentina is getting ready to send an ambitious set of reforms to that country’s Senate, among which figure the elimination of its system of blanket primary elections, or PASO, the implementation of a new anti-corruption law called “Clean Slate” designed to prevent candidates with criminal records from running for office, changes to its system of party financing, and the suspension of elections to PARLASUR (Mercosur’s Parliament).
