Winners and Losers as Latin American Growth Stagnates

The region’s growth will remain stagnant in 2015, but is expected to rise a bit in 2016. According to the semiannual report by the World Bank, Latin America’s slowdown puts pressure on jobs and household incomes. The IMF predicts the Venezuelan economy will contract 10% in 2015, while Paraguay will resist the crisis of the shrinking regional economy, and Panama and the Dominican Republic’s economies will rise above.
