The Middle Class in Colombia and Mexico

Although recent data shows that poverty in Colombia is continuing to decline, the country still struggles to maintain this decrease and to reach a poverty rate that is comparable to other Latin American countries. But poverty is not just a Latin American issue; the United States is struggling with a large socioeconomic problem, as well. While Latin America fights to increase their middle class, the United States is simply losing theirs.
