Issue May 20-26 2026: The Bruja Lagoon, located in the district of Apestepeque in the municipality of Vicente Norte, has in recent days undergone a change of color and now is the shade of green moss. According to residents of the area, in addition to its new color, the lagoon is also emitting a sulfurous odor, causing concern in local communities.
