Rare Frog Discovered in Colombia Suggests Healthy Regional Ecosystem

Issue May 06-12 2026: A rare species of tree frog is making its presence felt in the Colombian town of Acevedo, located in the humid mountainous region bordering the Amazon. For the first time ever, researchers have managed to record the sound of the frog, called Osteocephalus omega, in the country.
