Issue Apr 22-May 05 2026: Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said he presented a proposal for cooperation against organized crime, as well as a plan to review bilateral trade relations, to U.S. President Donald Trump. According to Lula, the meeting also featured an appeal for “mutual respect for sovereignty” and some banter regarding visas for soccer players.
