Issue Apr 15-21 2026: In October of 2025, a group of Uruguayan senators from the Frente Amplio party convened to discuss the public’s “right to the city,” the main goal of which was to establish the foundations of a policy by which “all inhabitants can use and benefit from urban spaces understood as essential for a full life.”
